Pragmatic features of medical posters as a medical discourse. Pp. 74–83.

Abstract. The study is devoted to a medical poster that is a kind of creolized text. The purpose of the article is to identify the constitutive features of the medical poster as a genre of medical discourse. The object of the study is medical posters, the subject is their genre aspects. Research material is blind selection of 100 medical posters from the Internet. The posters are analyzed using a questionnaire of the speech genre by T. V. Shmeleva, which has not been done before. As a result, it has been found out that the constitutive features of a medical poster include a communicative goal, the image of the addressee, the image of the addressor, the image of the past, the image of the future, event content and linguistic embodiment which consists in the use of verbal and visual components.
