The constitutive features of the historical narrative are described and its significance in Francophone Algerian linguoculture is determined. In accordance with the aims and objectives of the study, a comprehensive methodology is employed, including methods of continuous sampling, contextual and linguocultural analysis, as well as narrative analysis. These methods facilitate the formation of a text corpus, the comparison of factual and fictional elements, and the identification of linguistic means for verbalizing historical narrative in the selected corpus of texts. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the systematization and classification of linguistic means for verbalizing history as specific narrative techniques. In the article, the verbalization of specific historical facts is considered not as a record of past events, but as a reconstruction and vitalization of the past within a literary artistic text. The object of the study is the features of the artistic representation of the historical component in the texts of Francophone Algerian novels of the second half of the 20th century.
